Tax on winnings
15% withholding tax on all betting, gambling and lottery winnings, with no tax-free threshold, from 31 December 2025 (the earlier K100,000 and K500,000 thresholds were removed). The same law added a 0.05% levy on mobile-money transfers above K100,000.
